Printable Valentine’s Day Scavenger Hunt Clues for Kids
Hubby and I don’t usually go out on a Valentine’s Day date and we don’t exchange big gifts. I do like to make it special for the kids.
Valentine’s Day Breakfast for the kids is an annual tradition. I’ve also been trying to do something every year that my mom did when I was a kid. A Valentine’s Day Scavenger Hunt!
Having a Valentine’s Day Scavenger Hunt adds a little something special to the day. The surprise at the end of our Valentine’s Day Scavenger Hunt Clues isn’t anything fancy.
Valentine’s Day Scavenger Hunt prizes are usually a box of candy, or a small Valentine’s Day Plush. Maybe a small gift bag with nail polish and ponytail holders, or small gift card for my teens.
Grab my Printable Valentine’s Day Scavenger Hunt Clues below and plan a hunt of your own! They aren’t specific and should work for anyone’s home as long as you have a freezer, bed, sink, television, and dining room table.
If you don’t have a printer here are the clues so you can rewrite them on slips of paper to hide:
#1 Valentine’s Day is here! Hurry, Clue #2 may be frozen I fear. (Answer: Hide in the freezer or with the movie Frozen if you own it.)
#2 February 14th brings lots of red. Find Clue #3 where you lay your head. (Answer: Bed)
#3 Roses are pink and Irises are blue. Where dishes hangout is the next clue. (Answer: Cupboard, sink, or dishwasher)
#4 You will always be my Valentine. Look for Clue #5 where you dine. (Answer: Under the dining room table or chair)
#5 Scavenger Hunt has come to a close. Surprise awaits where you watch shows. (Answer: Somewhere in the living – couch, tv stand, chair, etc.)

I love this idea! I did a treasure hunt for my kids for Christmas. You’re never too old for a treasure hunt! (My kids are 17, 15, and 11!)
