Jelly Bean Popcorn
Jelly Bean Popcorn Ingredients
- 6 cups popped popcorn – plain (no butter)
- 1/3 cup Wilton lavender candy melts
- 2/3 cup jelly beans
- 1/3 cup Wilton orange candy melts
- 1/3 cup Wilton bright pink candy melts
- Rainbow nonpareil sprinkles
How to Make Jelly Bean Popcorn for Easter
Line a large cookie sheet with wax or parchment paper and pour the popcorn onto the cookie sheet, in a single layer. Next, in a microwave safe bowl, microwave the lavender candy melts for 45 seconds.
Remove from microwave and stir. Depending on your microwave wattage, you may have to microwave in additional 10-second increments until completely melted and smooth. Then, drizzle the melted lavender chocolate all over the popcorn.
Before the chocolate sets, sprinkle half of the jellybeans on top of the melted chocolate and sprinkle 1/3 of the rainbow nonpareil’s on top of the popcorn.
Next, in a microwave safe bowl, microwave the orange candy melts for 45 seconds. Stir until melted and smooth. Drizzle the melted chocolate over any spots on the popcorn not covered in lavender. Sprinkle 1/2 of the remaining nonpareils on top of the melted orange chocolate.
Finally, in a microwave safe bowl, microwave the bright pink candy melts for 45 seconds. Stir until melted and smooth. Drizzle the melted chocolate all over the popcorn. Before the pink chocolate hardens, sprinkle the remaining jelly beans and remaining nonpareil’s on top.
Chill for 20 minutes to allow all of the chocolates to harden. Break into pieces before serving, or store in an airtight container.
