You may have noticed that we had an amazing time in Minneapolis on our couples getaway recently. We had so much fun eating and adventuring our way through this city by nature.

If you planning a getaway with your spouse, I put our adventure together into an itinerary for the perfect couples getaway to Minneapolis!

(I was provided with complimentary stay, food, and admission in Minneapolis. Any opinions are 100% my own.)

Itinerary for the Perfect Couples Getaway to Minneapolis

When you arrive in Minneapolis, you’ll want to stay at Loews Minneapolis Hotel, which is conveniently located within 15 minutes of every place on the itinerary! After checking in and relaxing in your room for a bit, head down to Apothecary Lounge for dinner and drinks.

I highly suggest letting them create you and Old Fashioned to your liking! Plus, you are already at the hotel so no driving required the first night – cheers!

Wake up to the gorgeous sunrise over Minneapolis before heading off to breakfast at The Lowry! The perfect little urban diner to get fueled up at before hiking at Minnehaha Falls!

What's on the menu at The Lowry in Minneapolis

After burning off breakfast trekking all around the waterfall, river, and park, it’s time for lunch! Head to Bryant Lake Bowl for lunch AND bowling!

When you’re done knocking down pins head over to Walker Art Center and Sculpture Garden. Check out the galleries, walk around the garden, and play mini golf on the rooftop.

Head back to the hotel to relax and freshen up before dinner. The best place to grab dinner on your last night in Minneapolis is Nightingale! Order a song themed cocktail, a plate of octopus and get cozy in a leather booth.

The final morning of your couples getaway in Minneapolis is all about rejuvenation! Head up to Cosmos in Loews Minneapolis for their breakfast buffet before heading down to Embury Spa for the Couples Bliss Package. A massage, facial, steam shower, and champagne are just what you need before saying goodbye to Minneapolis.
