We made it to another Thirsty Thursday! That means we are almost to Friday and a relaxing weekend.

If you want a cocktail that makes you feel like you are on the beach, this Blue Hawaiian Cocktail is it! Plus, I’ve got a mocktail version for those of you who don’t drink alcohol, or for the kids to enjoy!

and Mocktail

First up is the cocktail version of this drink.

Blue Hawaiian Cocktail Ingredients (For 2)

  • 1/2 ounce blue curacao
  • 3/4 ounces light rum
  • 1 cup limeade
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • Lots of ice
  • 2 maraschino cherries
  • 2 pineapple slices
  • Salt for rimming glass – optional

How to Make a Blue Hawaiian Cocktail

First, dip the rim of the glass in water and salt, then fill both glasses with ice and pour Blue Curacao into each.

Next, carefully pour light rum and limeade over – you can also use a spoon to reduce the impact of the limeade on Blue Curacao and slow the mixing process.

Finally, top it off with pineapple juice, cherries, and pineapple slices.

Now, if you want to make this a mocktail, here’s how to do that.
