A few Halloween decorations have begun making their appearance in the house. With 70 degrees and the windows open, it was hard not to put out a pumpkin or two.

Okay, and a couple skeleton heads, a cauldron of candy, and a banner on the window. An additional benefit is that if you are looking for Halloween themes for your parties next month, I’ve got your back! Here are some ideas for a black and gold Halloween tablescape that’s both dark and sparkly!

The base for all of my party tablescapes is a great tablecloth or runner. For this Halloween tablescape, a Black and White Table Runner worked perfectly. I tried it over a black tablecloth but it just didn’t pop enough so I left wood table bare.

I have to admit that I wasn’t much of a centerpiece person until about two years ago. Now I have fun putting something together as the season change of holidays come up. For this Black and Gold Halloween Tablescape, I used Gold Glitter Pumpkin Votive Holders to add just the right amount of gold.

Dimension makes a centerpiece fun for the eyes. I got that by placing the Gold Glitter Pumpkin Votive Holders on a Large White Dessert Stand covered in stretchy cobwebs. Note to self, sticking a few spiders in the web would add a nice touch to this.

The other part of this Halloween tablescape centerpiece is a Spider Web Candelabra. I loved both the look and size of this switched things up because I already had candles in the pumpkins.

Instead of candles, I filled little Corked Glass Bottles with water and food coloring. Attaching tiny Kraft Paper Price Tags turned them into potions, serums, and poisons. Fun, right?! I’m already thinking of different drinks I could poor in these instead of just water…

Another great place to add a splash of gold is the plates. Metallic Gold Plates topped with Spooky Soiree Dessert Plates for a frighteningly fun dinner. Obviously, I have a thing for sneaking in skulls where I can this time of year.

I couldn’t resist these awesome Candelabra Place Cards that go great with the centerpiece. Plenty of space to write if you want to fancy with the font.
