You guys are loving the Baileys Strawberries and Cream Mousse and as promised, I have another delicious dessert! A little confession, the fudge I tried making didn’t turn out.
I mean, it was edible but it wasn’t fudge, it was more like soft smooshy chocolate even after being in the freezer for two days. This Chocolate Strawberry Freezer Pie is another story because it turned out fantastic!
Chocolate Strawberry Freezer Pie
Ingredients
- Chocolate Pie Crust
- 1 1/2 Cups Milk Chocolate Chips Chocolate Chips
- 1/3 Cup Milk
- 2 Cups Mini Marshmallows
- Cool Whip
- Limited Edition Baileys Strawberries and Cream
How to Make Chocolate Strawberry Freezer Pie with Baileys Strawberries and Cream
First, melt the chocolate chips, milk, and marshmallows together. I used 50% power on my microwave and cooked in 30-second increments until melted. Once melted, let it cool for about a minute before stirring in a shot of Baileys Strawberries and Cream.
After the filling is all mixed together, fold in half the tub of Cool Whip. Don’t stir because you want more of a mousse texture.
Next, pour into the pie crust and spread it out so it’s even across the top. Take the remaining Cool Whip and spread it on top. Stick in the freezer for a few hours before serving.
This freezer pie tasted like chocolate covered strawberries and chocolate covered cherries in one. I have no idea where the cherry flavor came from but that is what my mind kept telling me. I sliced strawberries to place on top of each pie slice and that made them even better.
