Words on Bathroom Walls will be in theaters on August 21st! I recently got the chance to screen it from the comfort of my home and I gotta say, I’m a little jealous of those of you who can visit an actual movie theater right now!
Words on Bathroom Walls
in Theaters Friday Only!
Based on Julia Walton’s novel of the same name, Words on the Bathroom Walls stars Charlie Plummer, Andy Garcia, Taylor Russell, AnnaSophia Robb, Beth Grant, Devon Bostick, Lobo Sebastian, with Molly Parker and Walton Goggins. Whew, what a line up and they all fit their roles well!

Charlie Plummer stars as Adam, who, by all accounts, appears to be your typical young adult. He’s “a little unkempt with raging hormones and excited about a future pursuing his dream of becoming a chef”. Adam finds himself expelled halfway through his senior year and diagnosed with a mental illness. A mental illness he keeps secret at his new school.

Maneuvering through a new school with a secret, Adam lives in constant fear of his truth being exposed. Then he finds Maya and they form a comforting connection.

Throughout the film, Maya inspires Adam “to open his heart and not be defined by his condition”. Finding new support and love from Maya and his family, you see home and light beam from Adam over the challenges that lie ahead.
You can catch Words on Bathroom Walls in theaters on August 21st! If you are like me and love to read books movies are based on, you’ll want to enter for the chance to WIN 1 of 5 Digital Copies of the novel, Words on the Bathroom!
