One of the hot holiday gifts this year is the Razor Turbo A at Walmart. The ONLY electric scooter on the market for under $100 at Walmart and I have a feeling they are going to sell out.

I say that because we’ve had the chance to ride the Razor Turbo A electric scooter. We were sent one to test out and now that we’ve given it a whirl for awhile I wanted to share our review of Razor Turbo A exclusively at Walmart for $98. (Currently on sale for $88!)

What You Want to Know About Razor Turbo A at Walmart

The main question is how fast does Razor Turbo A go? Turbo A reaches speeds up to 10 mph (16km/h) for up to 25 minutes of continuous use. We’re actually impressed with how fast Razor Turbo A goes and it feels like more than 10 mph!

Second question most ask is how much weight does Razor Turbo A hold? The max rider weight for maximum performance is 110 lb (50 kg). The recommended age of use is 8+.

My husband couldn’t resist trying it out and he’s 170. It had no trouble with him on it and he was smiling like a kid in a candy store while riding. (Please Note, he is over the weight limit but he wanted to ride it before letting our children.)

The battery on the Turbo A is a 10.8V lithium-ion pack that is easy to change and quick to charge. You do need to charge it for up to 4 hours before the first use. We did that and the kids were able to ride on it off and on for a week so far and we haven’t charged it again yet.

So, how does Razor Turbo A work? The motor is an 80-watt push-to-start motor with high-torque and geared-wheel drive. The throttle is electronic with sensor pressure and foot-activation control.

Basically, you step on and push off to start the motor and enjoy the amped up ride. The rear-fender brake with power cut-off allows you stop when needed.

Other specifications of the Razor Turbo A at Walmart include:

  • Aluminum Deck and Downtube with Easy Folding Mechanism
  • Folding Steel Handlebars with Foam Grips
  • Urethane Wheels
