*As a Nuby Mom Blogger, I am provided with products to test out with twins and share tips to help make life with little ones a little easier. Any opinions are 100% my own.

Tips To Keep Snack Time Manageable

Snack time comes twice a day in our house for the twins. In the beginning it was fun to watch them explore new foods and start to pick up and feed themselves finger foods.

Shortly after, snack time got became a time consuming and messy job. Getting snacks ready, finding snacks they liked, and then cleaning up said snacks. Over the last few months, I have taken snack time back and made it more manageable.

Designate a Snack Time Spot so the kids get used to the routine. Once the twins have their snacks, they know to head to the snack time spot. Having a spot helps keep snacks in one place and any messes confined to one space.

Opt for Less-Messy Snacks, especially if you have twins. Snack Time is usually when I try to put away a load of dishes, switch laundry over, or clean up one of 12 million messes made between the last meal and the current snack. A less-messy snack, means I can usually turn away for a few minutes and not return to a tornado zone.

Put on Some Music or grab some coloring books to bring fun to snack time. The twins often start to fight over their snack, or steal from each other, if they aren’t pre-occupied while snacking. Coloring pictures or bopping along to their favorite tunes usually keeps their minds away from each others food.

Keep easy snacks on hand and use containers to have them ready to go. The twins love the Nuby Storage Bowls! I have them packed with snacks and ready to go so they can pick out their own container when snack time rolls around. They enjoy getting to choose their own and they are the perfect size for their little hands. The storage bowls even come with a spoon as well.
