Have you heard about the young, shy, bookish chipmunk who is abandoned by his family sets off on a legendary journey? I just ordered the novel “The Adventures of Rockford T. Honeypot” for the twins and I to read during virtual learning this fall.
I plan on keeping my twins home for schooling this fall and thankfully our school district is offering a virtual option for all students. Knowing school will look different at home I wanted to make it special. I’m making a school area in the dining room, gathering fun crafts, and loading up on new books to read.
The Adventures of Rockford T. Honeypot Crafts from Amy Fulcher at AsTheBunnyHops.com bring together two things I’m looking for to make learning at home fun! Check them out by clicking each one below.
If you’re not familiar with the story, written by Josh Gottsegen, you can find it on Amazon and Apple.
As a young chipmunk, shy, bookish Rockford T. Honeypot had dreams of thrilling adventures across the forest. However, timid of danger and germs, his only adventures were found in books and in his imagination. When his family abandons him after a mistake that destroys their hazelnut business, Rockford sets off on a legendary journey beyond his wildest dreams. From exploring cuisines with a famous chef, training with ancient warrior monks, flying on giant hawks, finding true love, and much more, Rockford recounts his epic origin story of hardship, perseverance, and fortune.
