Bathroom Time Saving Cleaning Tips for Summer and Beyond

Time-Saving Bathroom Cleaning Tips

During the summer, it is hard not to want to be outdoors as much as possible! It is hard not to want to be outside soaking up the warm summer sun and a nice breeze. Know what I mean?

However, it’s still important to make time to clean your home. Below I share some smart cleaning bathroom tips to save you time, so you can enjoy your summer more!

Cleaning doesn’t have to be time-consuming. With a little prepping and planning of how to tackle your bathroom, you can be outside having fun with your family in no time!

Bathroom Cleaning Tips and Tricks This Summer

Squeegee Shower:

If you have a glass shower door, do this after each shower to save time cleaning your shower. Simply wipe it down with a squeegee after each use, to limit buildup.

This takes a few minutes after your shower but cuts down tons of cleaning time! If you have a shower curtain, make sure to close it, so the water can’t sit in the folds.

Use an All Purpose Cleaner:

Whether you make your own cleaners or buy them, go for an all-purpose cleaner. This is a great way to use the cleaner on all surfaces in your bathroom, saving time from switching from one cleaner to the next.

They have cleaners that work great on cleaning counters, sinks, showers, and tiles. Get a cleaner that will effectively kill bacteria in your bathroom as well!

Routine:

Making sure you take time to clean is important, and a schedule helps. If you stay up on keeping the bathroom clean, it will only take five minutes to wipe things down, instead of 30 putting everything where it belongs before tackling cleaning.

Try to wipe things down a few times a week, and keep counters clean. This will drastically cut down your cleaning time.

Toilet:

Toilets get really dirty, so you want to make sure they are clean! 2000 Flushes® Automatic Toilet Bowl Cleaner will kill up to 99.9% of bacteria with every flush made! It continuously cleans your toilet bowl and deodorizes it – just by flushing!

2000 Flushes will automatically clean your toilet bowl for up to 4 months. Simply place the tablet in the toilet tank. Then with each flush, it will leave your toilet water sparkling clean.

It will slowly dissolve over time and when it is gone, you simply place another one in the tank. This can cut back a bit of time. You can easily wipe down your toilet at least every few days, and your good to go!

Best Bathroom Time Saving Cleaning Tips for Summer and All Year Round

Keep Bathroom Dry:

Mold and mildew can really thrive in a damp room, so making sure you keep your bathroom dry is vital! By using an exhaust fan when you shower, you will help prevent the steam from settling on your walls and ceiling.

If you have a window you can open, try opening it up and letting it air out your bathroom, and leave the door open for air flow.

Organized:

Make sure your bathroom is organized. This way, all family members know where to put things after they use them. It can help keep your counters and floor nice and clean when everyone knows where things go!

Like I said above, these are simple but yet effective ways to get your bathroom clean in a hurry! You should try cleaning your bathroom within 15 minutes.

Turn on a timer and see if you can beat the clock. It is a popular trend right now, and a lot of people have success getting their bathroom cleaned in 15 minutes or less.

I have a new bathtub that is less than a year old. I wipe that thing down a couple items a week. I also clean my sink every day usually because I have two young messy kids!

Okay I am sold on this, cleaning the bathroom is my least favorite thing to do for sure. This will make it easier and the kids won’t need to clean their bathroom as deeply and often I think using this!

Cleaning the toilet is my least favorite task, second to doing the laundry. I could use that 2000 flushes. In a male dominant household, the toilet is the hardest to keep clean and fresh smelling. I could use any product available to make my life a little easier.
