It was a typical Wednesday afternoon. The twins were occupied with a snack and movie so I could finish up a project. I’d just sat down to work when Facebook messenger started going off.

“Where you hacked because I just got a strange message on LinkedIn from you?“

Almost five different friends messaged within minutes, regarding an email sent from my account about a lucrative offer to make money. I went straight to my email and there in my junk email was a notice from LinkedIn that my account had been hacked. The worst feeling in the world set in and I spent over 5 days trying to fix my account. Now more than ever I know how important it is to be secure online and I’ve turned to Keeper to keep me safe and secure in 2017!

Not having two-step authentication or better protection for digital security and privacy was a fail on my part. I’m kicking myself now that I know Keeper is easy to setup and use, even when you are filled with stress and anxiety from a hack like I was. With Keeper Quick Start, I was able to install the browser extension and add websites and passwords for complete privacy in just minutes. The best part, it secures more than just passwords, as it protects private files, photos and videos as well!

Some of the most important things to secure with Keeper are:

  • Bank Accounts
  • Medical Accounts
  • Social Media Accounts
  • Blogger Networks
  • WordPress, Blogger, and other Business Websites
  • Contracts and Important Documents
  • Shared Files, Videos, and Photos (that need accessed by more than one person)

Aside from passwords, I’m also adding tax forms, business contracts, and blog photography for protection against cyber theft. Let me tell ya, setting up central management of all passwords, private files, photos and videos starts giving you back peace of mind after a hack.

With an intuitive, elegant interface Keeper simplifies your online activity without requiring a lot of your time or effort. Plus, it supports any mobile device, computer or browser so you can set it up whenever you need to. I currently have Keeper on my laptop and iPad, and am loving the Keeper|DNA feature! As soon as it is available on Windows phones I will be adding it on there as well. It makes online activity easier, faster and more secure so why not use it on all your devices?!

I defiinitely need to look into this. It is sad people are sick enough to spend their life ruining the lives of others. I have a friend who’s Facebook was hacked a few days ago and I too received a weird message and knew something was up. Thanks for the helpful tip for us to protect ourselves.

I’ve used a number of password managers before, but hadn’t heard of Keeper. Definitely looking into it to compare!

It is such a nightmare! It’s hard enough to keep my passwords all straight, but then to worry about hacking. Sounds like a great resource for staying safe.
