I love smoothies, but I gotta be honest, it has to have chocolate or peanut butter or something really tasty in it. If you are like me, you will love whipping up this Peanut Butter Smoothie inspired by the Peanut Butter Moo’d Smoothie from Jamba Juice at home!
Peanut Butter Smoothie Recipe
- 1 cup chocolate milk
- 1/2 cup crushed ice
- 1 large banana that has been sliced and frozen
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter
Put the chocolate milk, ice, frozen banana and peanut butter into a blender and blend till smooth and all the ice chunks are gone.
The recipe above makes one large smoothie, so you can easily adjust it if you are making them for the whole family! Also, slicing and freezing the bananas is a step you do not want to skip, and placing them on an even layer on a plate or cookie sheet is the best. Slicing and freezing the bananas helps the texture of smoothie and we all know that is important.
