This post is part of a sponsored campaign for P. King Duckling. I received compensation for my participation, but my review and opinions are my own.
Disney Junior is part of my routine with the twins. Wake up, get dressed, eat breakfast while watching Disney Junior, brush teeth, and play. When they start preschool in the fall I’m going to miss their little giggles while watching their favorite Disney Junior shows. The Lion Guard, Doc McStuffins, Puppy Pals, and now P. King Duckling!
Have your kids watched P. King Duckling that is currently airing weekdays on Disney Junior 8:05am?! If you like to start the morning with funny adventures, this is it.
Nestled in a valley completely cut off from civilization, a quirky town called Hilly Hole is home to a wonderful collection of characters who also happen to be animals. Three of them are P. King Duckling, and his two best friends, Wombat and Chumpkins. Try not laughing when you say those names…Chumpkins.
P. King Duckling, Wombat, and Chumpkins encounter many challenges on their adventures, but they always find creative (and quite hilarious) ways to overcome them!
For example, in one episode of P. King Duckling, he wanted a dog and a fish. He couldn’t choose so he decided a dogfish would be best. In another episode, he gets tired of doing all the chores and comes up with a way to get them done really fast.
It’s not just the humor that makes me give two thumbs up to P. King Duckling. As with most Disney Junior Shows, P. King Duckling also tucked in some very important lessons for young children. Overcoming challenges and creative thinking are big takeaways from the show. Not just takeaways, they are P. King Duckling Core Values.
Core Values of P. King Duckling
Encouraging children to try new things, don’t give up and “Seize the Day!”
Empowering children to think and express themselves creatively through music, dance, role play… but most importantly to have fun and be yourself.
Inspiring children to build, create and play using their imagination.
See for Yourself
Motivating children to journey near and far… “Next stop, the moon!”
A duck with a dream is who P. King Duckling is. Actually, he’s got a lot of dreams. One day he might see himself as a scientist, an architect, a pizzeria owner or even a mountain climber! Sound like any little kids you know?
My twins want to be something new every day and I love seeing their imaginations take them everywhere. One thing I love doing when they start watching a new show is heading to DisneyJunior.com to see what fun activities and printables they have available. There are some P. King Duckling Coloring Pages on there right now!
Another thing about P. King Duckling is he thinks he’s the absolutely smartest and most handsome duckling around. He has great self-confidence and an unstoppable spirit that is inspiring for children. He enthusiastically embarks on wild adventures, and invariably experiences challenges along the way.
All while teaching children positive thinking, curiosity, and most importantly about being yourself. The perfect combination for preschoolers and young children, and everyone honestly, because you’re never to old to be reminded of how important it is to be yourself.
