When it comes to desserts, ice cream is my weakness. There are very few flavors and toppings I don’t enjoy. While I often pick up ice cream in the freezer department at the grocery store, nothing really compares to homemade ice cream. A lot of that has to do with memories of my grandpa sitting over his vintage ice cream bucket every 4th of July. Even though I didn’t use a bucket, this Mocha Chip No Churn Ice Cream took me back to childhood and I can’t wait to come up with more creative no churn ice cream concoctions. All that stands between you and this Mocha Chip No Churn Ice Cream are four ingredients.
- 1 14oz Can of Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 2 Cups Cold Whipping Cream
- 1/2 Cup Cold Coffee – Mocha Flavored
- 3/4 Cup Mini Chocolate Chips
The first thing you need to do is brew a pot of coffee. Bonus that your kitchen will smell amazing, at least mine did after brewing a pot of Mocha Coffee in my Braun BrewSense Drip Coffee Maker. Once your coffee is brewed and cooled, mix it together with the sweetened condensed milk and set aside. Next, add whipping cream to a large bowl and mix at medium speed for 2 minutes, until stiff peaks form. Okay back to the delicious ice cream. Once your mixture reaches stiff peak status, it’s time to slowly mix in the coffee mixture, and mix at low speed for about 2 minutes.
Finally, fold in mini chocolate chips and pour the mixture into a freezer safe dish. Place in the freezer for 5-6 hours to reach ice cream consistency.
Once it’s frozen, you will have an amazingly creamy Mocha Chip Ice Cream without churning anything! Easy to scoop and delicious to eat. Now it’s time to scoop it into waffle cones or bowls, and grab your spoons.
You can have a lot of fun with this no churn ice cream recipe. Switch up the coffee flavors or even change out the mini chocolate chips for toffee bits or crushed cookies.
