No Ice Cream Bucket required for this Mocha Chip No Churn Ice Cream!
When it comes to desserts, ice cream is my weakness. There are very few flavors and toppings I don’t enjoy. While I often pick up ice cream in the freezer department at the grocery store, nothing really compares to homemade ice cream.
A lot of that has to do with memories of my grandpa sitting over his vintage ice cream bucket every 4th of July. Even though I didn’t use a bucket, this Mocha Chip No Churn Ice Cream took me back to childhood and I can’t wait to come up with more creative no churn ice cream concoctions.
Check out this homemade ice cream recipe below in this post sponsored by Braun, and as usual, all opinions and creativity are 100% my own.

How to Make No Churn Ice Cream
The first thing you need to do is brew a pot of coffee. Bonus that your kitchen will smell amazing, at least mine did after brewing a pot of Mocha Coffee in my Braun BrewSense Drip Coffee Maker.
That’s right, Braun is back in North American kitchens with a brand new line of beautifully designed, reliable products that have been created to make food preparation easier and more intuitive for cooks and coffee enthusiasts!
I was quite impressed with the new Braun BrewSense Coffee Maker actually. It was easy to set up and program right out of the box, and instructions were understandable.
There are several neat features on this coffee maker but, my favorites so far are the Anti-Drip System that lets you pause and pour mid-brew with basically no mess to clean up.
Also, the Brew Strength Selector that lets you make your coffee regular or bold – and that’s a great thing when there are varying coffee drinkers in the house. Other features of the Braun BrewSense Coffee Maker include:
- Fully Programmable 24-hour clock, auto-on/off and 1 – 4 cup functions.
- 12-cup FlavorCarafe that is uniquely-designed to ensure coffee stays warm for longer.
- PureFlavor Brewing System for consistent great flavor..
- Extra Large Digital Display with user-friendly control panel with LED indicators and easy-to-read buttons.
- Keep Warm Plate that enables you to keep your coffee warm for hours.
Once your coffee is brewed and cooled, mix it together with the sweetened condensed milk and set aside. Next, add whipping cream to a large bowl and mix at medium speed for 2 minutes, until stiff peaks form.
I love not having to dig out my stand mixer for easy recipes, thanks to the Braun Multiquick Hand Blender.
I can not tell you enough how much I am going to love having the Braun Multiquick 7 Hand Blender in my life. You see it’s not just the hand blender that you see me using in the picture above.
It’s a food processor and a whole bunch of small appliances in one! You can grind, slice, chop, shred, cut, mash, mix, blend, whisk, and more. Braun seamlessly blends durable-inspired form and function, style and performance.
It’s a nice bonus that their products look as great as they work too! Features of the Braun Multiquick 7 include:
- World’s First Smart Speed Technology: The more you squeeze the more power you get.
- PowerBell Technology: Durable stainless steel blades and unique bell-shaped blending shaft for fast and finer
results. (This technology is exclusive to Braun.)
- EasyClick: Patented design ensures that all attachments can be removed in one simple click.
Okay back to the delicious ice cream. Once your mixture reaches stiff peak status, it’s time to slowly mix in the coffee mixture, and mix at low speed for about 2 minutes.
Finally, fold in mini chocolate chips and pour the mixture into a freezer safe dish. Place in the freezer for 5-6 hours to reach ice cream consistency.
Once it’s frozen, you will have an amazingly creamy Mocha Chip Ice Cream without churning anything! Easy to scoop and delicious to eat. Now it’s time to scoop it into waffle cones or bowls and grab your spoons.
You can have a lot of fun with this no churn ice cream recipe. Switch up the coffee flavors or even change out the mini chocolate chips for toffee bits or crushed cookies.
The possibilities are endless when you have an easy recipe, and great kitchen tools like Braun, to help you get the job done. With Braun, you can conquer the expected and create the unexpected in the kitchen.
PS: The difference in ice cream color is indoor lighting versus outdoor lighting. I didn’t feel like making the ice cream outdoors, but I chose to enjoy my Mocha Chip No Churn Ice Cream cone outdoors.
