I’m about to blow your mind in a meaty cheesy kinda way. Seriously. Five everyday ingredients combined to make one Meaty Cheesy Casserole that hopefully, the whole family will love!

I became addicted to this casserole, that is actually better the second day when I visited my cousin at college about 12 years ago. The original name was “Jon & Andy Casserole” but that wouldn’t make sense to anyone reading this so I gave it a Pinteresty Name.

Ingredients

  • 1 Can Hormel Chili with or without beans – your preference
  • 1lb Hamburger
  • 1 Box Macaroni and Cheese
  • 2 Cups Crushed Nacho Cheese Doritos
  • 1 1/2 Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Directions

Pre-Heat Oven to 375 and get out an 8X8 casserole dish.

Cook hamburger, and while it is cooking, start the water for the macaroni and cook as directed on the box.

When the hamburger is cooked, stir in the Hormel Chili and heat through.

Begin layering the casserole starting with the hamburger/Hormel Mixture in the bottom of the dish, then cover that with 1 3/4 Cups Crushed Nacho Cheese Doritos.

Next, cover the Doritos with 1 1/4 Cup of shredded cheese, and cover that with macaroni.

Place the remaining Doritos and shredded cheese on the top.

Put in the oven for about 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted.

So what do you think? Are you going to get your meaty cheesy-ness on soon?
