In an attempt to try to save time in the mornings, but still give the family a great breakfast, I am adding some make at home meals that are great for freezing. This weekend I doubled my batch of make at home breakfast sandwiches so I would have some during the week!
Make at Home Breakfast Sandwiches
These Make at Home Breakfast Sandwiches are super easy, very yummy, and when you catch the ingredients on sale, they beat the price of the $1.00 breakfast sandwiches you can get at the drive-thru. They are way better tasting than one of those sandwiches too.
Simply scramble up eggs, heat up whatever meat you like and warm up English muffins. Wrap them in foil if you will be using them as freezer breakfast. To reheat, cook them in the oven at 350 for about 20 minutes.
Tween Girl and Hubby really liked them and it’s easy enough that the kids can make them on their own in the morning. They want me to make them with bacon next time, and I’m wondering how turkey bacon will work out.
You could also do egg white and other variations to make a healthier version. I’m thinking spinach too!
Do you have a favorite breakfast meal that you freeze ahead of time?
