Four children later and there are times when the bathroom can’t be close enough. Times when I sneeze and change pants. Times when I am doing the “PeePee Dance” because I just want to rinse the last few dishes before going to the bathroom. Yep. My bladder is as weak as Miley’s excuse for twerking at the VMA’s. I think it is long over due that I get a stronger bladder, so…… I’m Kegeling! Are you?
What is Kegeling? Strengthening your pelvic floor muscles by squeezing and holding them up and in.
Kegels can be done pretty much anywhere, so I have no excuse for not Kegeling regularly. I kegeled after my first daughter for quite a while. I remember the first time someone explained it to me, they said, “It’s like going to the bathroom and stopping mid stream”. 🙂 You can Kegel in the checkout line, in the car, standing in the kitchen cooking, and even while you are sitting here and reading this post. 🙂 It is recommended that you practice Kegeling regularly, for ten seconds three times a day. Okay, I will wait………. All right, now that your first Kegel is out of the way for the day, you can check out this fun new “I’m Kegeling! Are You?” music video by Cystex!
