This Father’s Day Breakfast with Choco Cereal Milkshakes is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Braun. The opinions and text are all mine.
To sleep in. That is what my husband wants for Father’s Day. I am going to let him do just that by giving him a pair of brand new earplugs the night before, so he can sleep through four kids waking up in the morning.
Plus, if he has those earplugs in, he won’t hear us making him Father’s Day breakfast with Choco Cereal Milkshakes in the kitchen while he sleeps.
The kids had a day off of school recently, so we gave our Father’s Day breakfast a run through and man is he getting spoiled with deliciousness.
On the menu are Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Pancake Bites, Cheesy Bacon Scrambled Eggs, and a Choco Cereal Milkshake. You’re drooling, aren’t you?
Father’s Day Breakfast Ideas
Pancake Bites are a super fun breakfast treat and they also make great pancakes for toddlers! Anything dippable is loved by my toddlers and these are less messy than regular pancakes in our house.
You can make these in all sorts of flavors but, for Father’s Day Breakfast we’re going with Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Pancake Bites.
Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Pancake Bites Ingredients
- 2 cups pancake mix
- 1 Cup Milk
- 1/2 Cup Peanut Butter
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips
In a large bowl, mix together pancake mix, milk, and eggs. Once that is mixed together, mix in the peanut butter. Scoop the mixture into a greased mini muffin tin and top each one with a few chocolate chips.
Bake at 425 for 11 minutes, or when a toothpick comes out clean after being inserted in the middle. Let them cool for a few minutes before serving with syrup to dip in.
Cheesy Bacon Scrambled Eggs pair perfectly with Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Pancake Bites. Okay, bacon pairs with everything. I made regular old scrambled eggs with milk but topped them with crumbled bacon and shredded cheese.
Bacon Crumbling got a whole lot easier with the Braun Multiquick 7 Hand Blender I recently told you about. There are at several attachments depending on whether you need to chop, knead, crush, purees, and more.
For the bacon, I actually used the new French Fry Disc that is for cutting potatoes into french fry shape quickly. Why? This gave me perfectly sized bacon pieces I was looking for.
I simply stuck a few slices of bacon in the slot, pushed the button, and within seconds my delicious crumbled bacon was ready to put on eggs for Father’s Day Breakfast!
Now it’s time for what may be the star of Father’s Day Breakfast…Choco Cereal Milkshakes! Forget about eating your cereal, why not mix it with some ice cream for a tasty breakfast surprise.
Choco Cereal Milkshakes
Choco Cereal Milkshake Ingredients
- 1 1/2 Cups Chocolate Ice Cream – or other flavor depending on cereal choice
- 1/3 Cup Milk
- 1/3 Cup Cereal
- 1 Tablespoon Whipped Topping
In your blender, combine ice cream, milk, and 1/4 of a cup of the cereal. Once smooth, pour into glasses and top each glass with a whipped topping and remaining cereal.
I have to tell you, it has been a while since I’ve owned a blender that didn’t burn up after the second time trying to crush ice. The Braun PureMix Blender is one awesome piece of kitchen machinery. I had my Choco Cereal Milkshake ready to go in under a minute!
Features of the Braun PureMix Blender include:
- SmoothCrush Blade System: Get optimum blending results with the exclusive combination of a specially designed jug and higher positioning of the blade system.
- PowerAssist Technology: Blender auto senses contents and maintains optimal speed to power
through all the ingredients!
- 5 Speed Modes, Ice Crush Function, and Auto Pulse Function: Auto Pulse function works with all speeds for staggered blending.
- PureMix Plastic Pitcher (56 fl. oz.)
Whip up dad this surprisingly delicious Father’s Day Breakfast and let me know what he thinks! He may be so pleased that he will surprise you with all new Braun kitchen appliances to make all those yummy meals easier.
