It’s been a year since the LeapFrog LeapTV joined our gaming console line up. My twins have graduated beyond just dancing in front of the camera, and now actually try to play the games.
They aren’t too shabby at it either thanks to the help of family. Yep, Family Game Night with LeapFrog LeapTV is worked into the regular rotation at our house.
Some new games now too, thanks to the amazing folks at LeapFrog and my partnership with them as a member of the #LeapFrogMomSquad!
Since you can read about all the reasons to play LeapTV in my last post, I wanted to tell you about some new games that are out just in time for the holidays! If you don’t have a LeapTV it makes a great gift. If you do have a one, games make great stocking stuffers and gifts!
LeapTV Disney Frozen
Put math skills to the test during Arendelle’s Winter Festival with LeapTV Disney Frozen! Children can play solo, or with a friend, as they sculpt ice, create jewelry from snowflakes, and even join Elsa, Anna, and Olaf for a magical festival using math skills.
With five games, and the chance to throw snowballs at Olaf in a dunking booth, this is a game that offers tons of fun. Not only fun, but it also teaches counting, addition, subtraction, place value, 2D and 3D shape recognition, and number sequence.
LeapTV DoodleCraft
If it involves colors, paint, or crafting of any kind, my toddlers love it. With DoodleCraft, the mess is gone and the learning replaces it Children can craft, explore, and customize a world with LeapTV Doodle Craft!
Let creativity run wild designing buildings, all while learning sorting, memory skills, and observation and matching skills. As quests are completed, new art tools are unlocked to add paint, patterns, doors, windows, GLITTER, stickers and the list goes on. There are neighborhoods to unlock, islands to clean, and multiples levels of edutainment in this LeapTV game.
LeapTV Blaze and the Monster Machines
My twins took an early liking to Blaze and I love that it teaches STEM at such an early age! Number recognition, physical science, and problem solving are just some of the skills children will learn playing LeapTV Blaze and the Monster Machines.
Tons of fun too as kids build a super-duper stunt track in Monster Dome! Get behind the wheel and take on obstacles courses as the controller becomes a virtual steering wheel. This is the only vehicle my twins better be driving for at least another 11 years!
LeapTV Letter Factory Adventures
We’ve gotten to C. Granted my twins can recite every letter of the alphabet as you say it, but on their own? We’ve gotten to C. I’m pretty excited to see if LeapTV Letter Factory Adventures helps them get from A to Z.
Children can hop on the train with Tad and Lily to enjoy mini games along the ride. Each mini games helps teach name, shape, and sound of every letter in the alphabet.
What’s neat about this game is that it snaps pictures along the way so your child can build their own Alphabet Book! How cool is that?!
