I love filling Easter baskets almost as much as stockings at Christmas. The fun of finding yummy candies and treats to go inside the basket and let’s be honest, a few for inside my belly too.
In addition to candy I also add Easter basket fillers to encourage creativity over Easter break. Games, crafts, and even things to build.
Below are some great ideas if you are looking for Easter Basket Fillers to encourage creativity in your kids!

Encourage Creativity with these Easter Basket Fillers
Magformers Mini House Sets
My youngest son enjoys clicking, connecting, and creating with Magformers. He’s built with them at school and the library, and received his first set at Christmas.

I’m thinking about adding a small set to his Easter basket, like Magformers Mini House Sets. These sets offer endless construction possibilities using the Magformers Magnetic Rainbow shapes, characters and accessories included.

Current Magformers Mini House Sets include Max’s Playground Set, Maggy’s House Set, Minibot Kitchen and Milo’s Mansion Set.

Ooze Labs Soap & Bath Bomb Lab
Do you have a daughter who loves all things fizzy, soapy, and bath bomby? One of mine does and lordy can it make bath time expense!
Enter Ooze Labs: Soap & Bath Bomb Lab so your child can make soaps, bath bombs, and more right at home! With this pretend STEM scenario lab, kids are a chemist for a bath and body products company tasked with the job of making and testing different cosmetic products.

The lab includes tools, ingredients, and recipes to employ different scientific techniques and essential chemistry principles to make soaps and bath bombs.

The twins and I made soap recently and it turned out impressively well! They immediately placed one at each sink in the house and demanded everyone use them from now on.

We’re looking forward to testing out bath bombs too along with several other ideas in the including booklet.

How to Be a Veterinarian Kit
For the past two years my youngest daughter has said she wants to be a vet. She loves all animals, wants to own all animals, and I can truly see this dream becoming a reality.

Sound like a kid you know? The How to Be a Veterinarian Kit from Little Medical School® would be the perfect Easter basket filler!

Think of it as a “Classroom in a Box” offering aspiring veterinarians a wide variety of hands-on and educational activities. The HOW TO BE A VETERINARIAN KIT can be enjoyed multiple times with five separate activities:
- Adopt A Pet
- Perform A Nose To Tail Exam
- Measuring Your Dog
- Healthy Treats
- Sick of Ticks

Flying Bunny Poppers
Oh my gosh are these poppers fun and they really shoot 20ft! Kids could set up targets to knock down, cups to aim into, and have so much funny shooting these soft balls!
