ProjeX is an electronic target shooting game now available at Walmart and Target. We were recently sent one to test out for family game night. We’ve played it several times now so I feel comfortable answering the following question…
(This is a sponsored post. Any opinions are 100% my own.)

Does ProjeX Really Work
and Is It Fun?
First, ProjeX really works and is super easy to set up! Simply put in batteries, plug in the guns, pop in a game cartridge, and turn it on.
There are five built-in games and three interchangeable game slides included with ProjeX. Different levels of game play are noted by the slide colors. Beginner, advanced, and expert making it great interactive game the whole family can play!
- Blue – Targets = Beginner
- Red – UFOs = Advanced
- White – Ducks = Expert
You can play solo, head-to-head, or team up in “Co-Op” mode on ProjeX. You can also choose your target from ducks, UFOs, or actual targets projected right on to your wall. My husband was excited for the ducks because it reminded him of playing Duck Hunt in the 90’s!

Kids will love the unique sound effects each target has, too! The game also keeps score for you with an illuminated counter which is another great feature for little kids.

We don’t have a game like this in our family game night cupboard so my kids are LOVING it! Even my husband has been getting in on the ProjeX action and we’ve even playing outside on the garage door at night.
You do not need a TV or any other devices to play ProjeX. You can turn any room into an incredible gaming arcade with a blank wall. It does work best in a dark room, when you project on a light-colored wall with no artwork, wallpaper or painted patterns. Thankfully our twins bedroom has the perfect wall and it gets nice and dark when the sun sets.

Our favorite things about ProjeX are how easy it is to set up, the ability to play without needing any other devices, and the different levels of game play for everyone in the family!
Find ProjeX on Walmart.com and Target.com for your next family game night!
