DIY Rainbow Soap Foam is a fun rainy day activity for kids!
My kids are heading back to school in two weeks. That means it will be just the twins and I during the day.
With about 8 hours to fill Monday through Friday, I try to keep a lot of fun play time ideas on hand. Now that they are a little older, I’m gathering up some sensory play activities and this DIY Rainbow Soap Foam is perfect!

How to Make Rainbow Soap Foam
Start by pouring 2 TBSP of dish soap, 1/4 cup of water, and food coloring in a blender. Mix on high for 1 to 2 minutes or until foam forms stiff peaks that hold their shape.
Remove foam from blender. Rinse and repeat until your have the desired amount of foam. Place foam in a large plastic container and mix colors together.
I made a batch of this Rainbow Soap Foam over the weekend for a test run. In less than 10 minutes I had two batches of foam soap ready to go.
I put it in pies tins so they could each have their own. I gotta say, the twins found it very interesting!
She was a bit hesitant but followed his lead. A few minutes in we had smiles and eager fingers playing in the colors. I’d say DIY Rainbow Soap Foam is a winner!
