Last week we celebrated my little sister’s graduation. All decked out in her cap and gown, she walked the stage and sealed the deal on another accomplishment. We had a little get together at our mom’s house afterwards, and I put together a DIY Graduation Balloon display to surprise her!
If you are looking for ways to decorate for graduation parties, these DIY Graduation Balloon Ideas are easy and epic! They really work for any party, especially baby showers and bridal showers! For my sister, I dug through all my old photos and pulled out everything I could find of her. Old class photos, dance pictures, pictures of her with my kids, and I taped each one to the ends of strings on helium balloons.
My sister was highly entertained by the photos I found and a few she hadn’t seen in awhile, bringing back some memories. I love that she loved it, adnd it was a super simple small touch that was noticed.
This idea came from the DIY Graduation Balloon Superlatives that Balloon Time created. How awesome are these?! They took superlatives out of the yearbook and turned them into graduation party conversation topics! This is a fun way to relive yearbook fun with photos of friends and hilarious recognitions, and who doesn’t love a great helium balloon?!

I loved balloons. I loved to use balloons to decorate. Until I learned that Helium is not an infinite gas and that there is a shortage. Check out balloons blow. org for more info regarding this.
