#advertisement If you’re a regular around here you know that I LOVE FALL! There are so many reasons this is my favorite season. Jeans and sweater weather. Football and tailgates. Leaves rustling around and crisp air at sunset. Apple cider and pumpkin spice. Ah, isn’t lovely? What else is lovely are all the fall dates that make you feel like a kid again!
I have a confession to make. This isn’t like my previous confessions of loving storage totes and going commando in yoga pants. This confession is much harder to get off my chest but I need to be honest with you. It’s time I really truly focus on my own self-care and part of that is finally winning a battle I’ve been fighting.
Four years until I’m forty. For some reason, turning forty has me anxious. 40 is for real adulthood, not that 36 isn’t but getting closer to it has me wondering what I’m doing with myself. Am I truly making the most of life? If pre-mid-life-crisis is a thing I’m pretty sure that’s what I’m feeling….
Bringing a child into the world comes with a long to-do list. Once they arrive, that list gets longer and they don’t even bring an instruction manual with them. No manual means we wing it with advice from our parents and friends, and listening to our gut. Family Volunteer Day occurs annually on the Saturday before Thanksgiving and this year it falls on November 18

They’re excited to see me at the end of the day and unload their backpacks full of stick people and finger paint art. It’s awesome seeing them grow but it isn’t coming with struggles. Here are 5 struggles of parents with preschoolers, or at least for this parent of preschoolers.
As much as I love fall, I’ve never made a “Fall Bucket List” before. We end up randomly doing things when we have free time. The results in fall regret when the snow starts falling, about all the things we forgot to do. I’m determined to make the most of fall this year by writing out…
Next month marks four years since my first Disney Press Trip. I traveled to LA for Thor: The Dark World and Delivery Man premieres. You’d think Vince Vaughn and Chris Pratt would be among the biggest memories of that trip. They are not. The rank second and third just behind my twins getting RSV at 10 months old.
