This post and Afternoon Painting Party for Kids was sponsored by WaterWipes as part of an Ambassador Program for Influence Central and all opinions expressed in my post are my own. I received complimentary products to facilitate my review.
The weather has been gorgeous which makes it a great time for outdoor fun. We’ve been playing in the sandbox, digging in the backyard, and having fun in the clubhouse.
Just when you think you are running out of new ideas for outside fun, it hits you. Why not throw a quick and easy Afternoon Painting Party for Kids?! So we did just that!
Holding an Afternoon Painting Party for Kids outside is a great way to avoid any mess in the house. Set up a table in the yard with all the supplies you need.
- Blank Canvases (You can find 3ct pack for less than $3.00 at several retailers)
- Washable Paints (You can pick up a 6ct pack for around $5.00 at pretty much any retailer)
- WaterWipes for Clean-Up (You can find these at Walmart, Target, Walgreens, and more)
- Cupcakes for Party Snacks
Have the kids bring old shirts or have some handy for them to put on. Then let the kids go to town painting their canvases!
The process of an Afternoon Painting Party for Kids pretty much goes like this:
#1 Get messy and paint.
#2 Clean up fingers.
Both durable and effective without containing any of the harmful chemicals that may be found in other baby wipes, WaterWipes proves a safer, natural option for your little one. They are also a great option for finger painting clean up!
Repeat this process until paintings are complete. It was fun to see what each of the kids created using their fingers. The twins opted to swirl and glob and smack and spread, while the older kids opted to create patterns and pictures.
When the paintings are done, let them dry on the table for a bit before hanging them up or taking them home.
While the paintings dry, colorful mini cupcakes are the perfect snack after all that hard work getting messy and cleaning up.
The best thing I could have done for our painting party was having WaterWipes on the table. That meant no one was running in and out of the house to wash off their hands.
Plus, they could quickly go from painting masterpieces to eating cupcakes without any trouble! All those used WaterWipes sort of made a masterpiece of their own too, don’t ya think?
WaterWipes is a chemical free baby wipe that contains only two ingredients, 99.9% pure Irish water and 0.1% grapefruit seed extract.
Our Afternoon Painting Party for Kids was super easy to set up, very affordable, and all the kids had a ton of fun. Plus, everyone has new art to hang on the walls at home!
