You know when you hear about a show and it doesn’t sound like something you typically watch so you don’t give it a try? I for one have to stop doing that! I decided to say yes, when I would have normally said no and actually ended up really enjoying Hallmark Channel’s “When Calls the Heart”!
The Season 2 Premiere of When Calls the Heart airs on the Hallmark Channel this Saturday, April 25th at 8 PM ET! The two-hour event is sure to have fans on the edge of their seats and holding hearts, as well as hooking in new fans. Now that I am all caught up in the details of Elizabeth and Jack, Abigail and Bill, and the rest of Coal Valley, I can give you 5 Reasons to Watch When Calls the Heart on the Hallmark Channel.
I don’t mean the mushy gushy kind of love. I mean the internal love we have for ourselves or learn to have for ourselves that is beyond material things. Love for one another when people are in need. You see Elizabeth Thatcher go from a lifestyle she is accustom too, into one of a different level, and how she handles (or doesn’t handle) things. You see a town grieving the loss of family and friends when the mine explosion. And you see love among it all.
When you have an explosion, in a mine, that could be someone’s fault….there will be drama. When a woman’s husband and only son were killed in that mine….there will be drama. Its the type of drama that pulls you in, have you picking sides, changing sides, and holding on for the ride.
3) Family-Friendly Entertainment
When Calls the Heart is a show I would watch with my hubby, my mom, and even my teen daughter. No uncomfortable or awkward scenes to wriggle through and plenty of scenes that spark conversation.
4) Great Cast
Hallmark Channel’s “When Calls the Heart” stars Lori Loughlin (“Full House,” “90210”), Erin Krakow (“Army Wives”), Daniel Lissing (“Last Resort”) and Jack Wagner (“The Bold and the Beautiful”) among others.
5) Interesting Story Line
Based Janette Oke’s book “When Calls the Heart”, this story is one that is relatable yet unimaginable, twisty and turny, and will leave you wanting more at the end of each episode.
