This post was made possible by iConnect and Old Spice. I was compensated for my participation in this campaign, but all opinions are 100% mine.
My 10 year old son is by far my biggest challenge when it comes to clothing and hygiene. He would live in t-shirts, basketball shorts, and bedhead if I let him, and yes, underwear would be optional in his world. Over the years, I’ve gotten creative when it comes to dressing up a son for holidays. The job gets done though, and these tween and teen boy holiday style ideas will help you out, if you have a son like mine!
Tween and Teen Boy Holiday Styles Ideas
Denim and Button-Up
When it comes to holiday styles for tween and teen boys, a comfortable pair of nice jeans are completely acceptable in my book. You can get pop a squat on the floor while opening presents, stretch out on the couch during a holiday movie, and overfill your belly at the dessert table in jeans, better than you can in stiff fancy pants. 😉 Pair with those jeans, a red or green button-up shirt layered over a comfy t-shirt, and you’ve got your holiday style. Other ways tween and teen boys could wear denim for the holidays include:
- Denim + Sweater
- Denim + Thermal
- Denim + Blazer
- Denim + Vest and Shirt
Khakis and Sweaters
This holiday style for tween and teen boys is a little more dressed up than jeans, but still offers comfort. Khakis come in all sorts of colors now, with gray being a favorite of mine during the holidays. Sweaters offer lots of choices as well, with pull-overs, zip-ups, and button-up cardigans. I’m loving the “Mister Rogers’ looks that I’m seeing lots of stores this season, too!
Ugly Christmas Sweaters & Christmas Suits
There are some pretty epic Ugly Christmas Sweaters for boys available this year. Actually, they are available for the whole family so I’m sure we will see lots of awesome Christmas cards this year. Another thing I’m loving are Christmas Suits and if you want to have a little fun with fashion this holiday season, both are great options for tween and teen boys! Dress them up with khakis, go casual with jeans, or go for the full suit and you’re set!
Whatever holiday style for tween and teen boys your son goes with, don’t forget to whip that hair into holiday shape! With Old Spice Hair Styling Products, guys can Right their Holiday Hair Wrongs thanks to the manliest grooming brand on the planet. Like I mentioned earlier, my son would run off to school in bedhead if I let him. Junior high is next year though, so my husband has stepped in and helped him with some hair styles.
Just last week, he actually styled it on his own, and did a fantastic job! He may not care, but it looked so good when he left for school. 😀 A part of that new motivation could be that he’s getting to use products like Old Spice Pomade, that dad and grandpa use. Old Spice Pomade provides a moderate hold and low shine finish, for hair that’s reworkable, again and again and again and again … and then again.
Depending the look you want this holiday season, there are other Old Spice products, beyond Pomade, to get the perfect do:
- Old Spice Paste: Medium Hold and Textured Finish, for hair that just wants to mess around. Natural, casual and relaxed like you just got out of bed all day long.
- Old Spice Putty: High Hold and Low Shine Finish, for hair that’s sturdy, yet shapeable. But not silly … that’s a different kind of putty.
- Old Spice Fiber Wax: Flexible Hold and Shine, for versatile hair that always bounces back – similar to the greatest comeback story ever told about great hair.
- Old Spice Forming Creme: Natural Hold and Shine, for hair that doesn’t try too hard because it doesn’t have to. Relax and take your foot off the gas – your hair’s in the driver’s seat.
Old Spice Pomade, Putty and Paste hair stylers make the perfect stocking stuffers. Not only will they will help you win stocking stuffer bragging rights, but you’ll also be giving guys the tools they need to achieve the holiday hair styling glory they’ve been looking for!
