There is a special birthday on the calendar this month. Someone who probably doesn’t come to mind right away. She’s a vegetarian, loves Cookies N’ Cream Dippin’ Dots, and can groove to the music like the best of them. Yep, it’s Helen Henny’s Birthday so it’s a Party at Chuck E. Cheese’s and Your Invited! Find out all about it in today’s sponsored post with Chuck E. Cheese’s.
We eagerly crammed in the car for family fun and food at Chuck E. Chesse over the weekend. If you haven’t been, stopping by is a must and not just for the Helen Henny’s Birthday! The pizza is tasty, lots of choices on the salad bar, new menu items, new games, and the list goes on. Speaking of new menu items, Churros, wraps, Gluten-Free Pizzas, and Thin + Crispy pizzas are part of that line-up. Look at all those veggies waiting to be devoured!
It’s not just about the food at Chuck E. Cheese’s for us. Fun is also what keeps bringing us back. There are tons of games to master, and while Helen Henny is a great singer, she’s also an amazing gamer and takes pride in mastering every new game at Chuck E. Cheese’s! Sound like your kid? There are also a variety of rides for kids of all ages, and some of them snap your pictures!
During all that game play, the kids always take a break to dance with Chuck E.! They know when it’s dance time, it’s also ticket time. The big and little kids love dancing along to the music and scrambling to grab up as many tickets off the floor as they can.
One of the things I have always loved about Chuck E. Cheese’s (and this goes back to the Showbiz days) is the band! The current back-up band for Chuck E. Cheese’s includes redneck dog Jasper T. Jowls on guitar, purple monster and keyboardist Mr. Munch, and drummer and Gene Shalit impersonator Pasqually, and of vocalist Helen Henny.
Did you know that Helen Henny grew up in New York City, right down the street from Broadway?! Her deep passion for music began at an early age and Chuck E. invited Helen to join his band right on the spot when he heard her sing a victory song after their Pong match. A fun little tidbit, Nolan Bushnell, the man who opened what is now known as Chuck E. Cheese’s, also invented Pong and founded Atari!
After all the food, gaming, and musical entertainment, our final stop before heading home is always the prize counter. This time we left with a Dragons Race to the Edge building set, two slinkies, and 140 tickets left for next time! Do you remember the last prizes your kids scored at Chuck E. Cheese’s?
Okay, so what’s this excitement about a party at Chuck E. Cheese’s? From May 27th – May 30th is Helen Henny’s Birthday Celebration at Chuck E. Cheese’s and she will be making an appearance at participating locations! Specials going on include Helen Henny coloring sheets with 5 free token coupon and $1.50 Cookies’n’cream Dippin’ Dots, because those are Helen’s favorite flavor!
Another special for Helen Henny’s Birthday is $2.00 off Helen Henny plush dolls! (while supplies last) Let me tell ya, Miss Charlie is pretty smitten with Miss Helen. She carried her all around Chuck E. Cheese’s while we were there, and then they both splashed in mud puddles when they got home. 😀 Trust me, that is a sign of endearment with her because Miss Charlie is in her happiest of happy places, when covered in mud.
