Everything from childhood is returning! Babydoll dresses, Air Jordan sneakers, and one of the most iconic global children’s brands of all time, Teletubbies! With brand-new episodes on Nick Jr. that appeal to today’s digital toddler, Tinky-Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa, and Po will now be known in a new way, by a new generation. Including my twins, who were recently introduced to Lullaby Laa-Laa!
( I was compensated for this sponsored post with Teletubbies. Any opinions are 100% my own.)
Do you remember when the original Teletubbies debuted in 1997? I was in high school then, but I remember, and had younger siblings that watched the show. Them, and more than one billion other children around the world, in 45 different languages! For the Teletubbies revival, they used the latest in media production techniques, for a newly-modernized series, and I have to be honest, I think I enjoy it better than the original.
There is still the baby face sun we remember, the grassy field they played in, and Noo-Noo cleaning up all the Teletubbies messes. The neat thing about this new Teletubbies, is their actions seemed even more toddler friendly and dance encouraging. Plus, delightful updates you will notice, include the Touch-Screen Tummies that still play videos with real children, and the Tubby Phone smart phone.
If you ask the twins their favorite part about Teletubbies, they’d probably tell you Tiddlytubbies. The new series introduces babies that live with the Teletubbies. I think it’s around episode 5 that they enter the show. I hope they, and Noo-Noo are included in the new line of products launching in the US this December. But for now, the twins can snuggle up with Lullaby Laa-Laa while they stream episodes on the Nick Jr. App.
Meet Lullaby Laa-Laa
Lullaby Laa-Laa was sent to us the other day, to help celebrate the launch of the very first toy from the brand-new Teletubbies product line, that will be released in the US soon. The twins are still learning who the Teletubbies are, but Miss Charlie quickly remembered. 😀
Designed for ages 18 months and up, Lullaby Laa-Laa is 10″ of soft plush material and a touch-screen tummy with built-in changing light pattern that beams on the wall whenever it is pressed. Add to that the musical sound effects of Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, and Lullaby Laa-Laa is a great cuddly bedtime (or sick day) companion.
Carefully developed especially for children six months to three years old, this playful brand captures young children’s imaginations and promotes early developmental growth. I can tell you that in the few days the twins have had Lullaby Laa-Laa they have taken her on a car ride to look at Christmas lights, taken turns sleeping with her at night, and I’m pretty sure she won the game of hide-n-seek the other night. 😀 I have a feeling more will be joining her, when other Teletubbies toys launch soon.
Tune in to watch the all-new Teletubbies on Nick Jr. weekdays at 8AM ET/7AM CT!
