This post is part of a sponsored campaign for Jungle Jim – A Musical Wildlife Adventure. I received compensation for my participation, but my review and opinions are my own.
Do your kids love animals? What about music? The other day, the twins and I watched Jungle Jim – A Musical Wildlife Adventure on Amazon and it combines both of those. Leg jiggling music and fun kid-friendly animal facts paired with exploring adventures had my twins asking for more Jungle Jim!
You can check out the 15-minute pilot of Jungle Jim – A Musical Wildlife Adventure on Amazon right now. During the pilot, Jungle Jim explores the animal kingdom with his friends Flip the Monkey, Dash the Cheetah, Scratch the Porcupine and Stripes the Tiger. I do have to warn you, be prepared for some pretty epic dinner conversations afterwards! Mister Oliver told me about cheetahs having back toes with sharp nails.Which then had Miss Charlie telling me that she wanted a cheetah in town because they can run fast with her on their back. That’s toddlers for ya, but it also shows kids are remembering important facts when they sing about them with Jungle Jim and his animal friends!
All those fun animal facts that Jungle Jim teaches kids, are mixed with original music and live footage of animals in their own habitat. I love the addition of the live animal footage to the show, and I think that makes it even more appealing to my toddlers. They love visiting the zoo, chasing birds and rabbits thru the yard, and pretty much everything about animals, and I think seeing the footage in Jungle Jim brought it all together with the animal facts they were hearing.
Anytime I push play on a new show for the twins, I hold my breath for their response. They aren’t shy about much, and definitely not things they dislike. When I showed them Jungle Jim for the first time, they didn’t stop watching for the whole 15-minutes. When it was over, they asked for a new one, and hopefully that happens soon! The images are colorful, the characters are fun, and the music is infectious. That’s probably why they’ve watched a few more times since!
Grab the kids, click over to Amazon, and check out Jungle Jim – A Musical Wildlife Adventure. With over 488 reviews on Amazon and over 1000 reviews on YouTube (not one negative reviews), it’s not just the twins and I who love it! Plus, if you leave a review on Amazon and send an email with a link to your review to firstname.lastname@example.org, the company will mail you a free DVD of the 15 minute pilot!
Jungle Jim was created by Steven Wagner. Every night before bed his children would want to read books about animals and talk about them. Steve woke up one morning with an idea for a musical animal show, and has since been developing the concept so that he can help kids everywhere satisfy their curiosity about animals. Steven’s brother Eric, who is a musician, wrote and produced all the music. Eric is also all the voices of the animal except Dash the Cheetah. Jungle Jim is voiced by Eric’s son.
